Since 2014: AR/VR pioneers, app builders, restaurant-tech operators, and now AI-first engineers — same team, same phone number, same standard.
Hash Media started in 2014 in Ahmedabad with a conviction that felt contrarian: a small team that genuinely loves building software will beat a big agency that loves billing for it. No account managers, no handoffs — the person you talk to is the person writing the code.
The early years were spent where the hard problems were: ARKit betas, projectors calibrated against wedding venues at 2am, photoreal 3D squeezed through the mobile GPUs of the day. Immersive tech either works live in front of an audience or visibly doesn't — learning our craft there set the engineering bar for everything since.
Then we did the thing agencies rarely do: became a product company. Watching restaurant clients bleed margin to billing chaos and commissions, we built our own POS and ordering platform — and running software live kitchens depend on nightly made reliability a reflex, not a feature. Today the studio runs on three legs that feed each other: immersive experiences, core software with AI, and restaurant technology.
