Dedicated Teams

Your product team, under our roof

Some clients need a project delivered; others need a team that stays. Our dedicated-team model gives you hand-picked engineers, designers and QA who work only on your product — in your Slack, your Jira, your standups, your timezone overlap — with Hash Media handling hiring, retention, infrastructure and quality behind the scenes. It's how our longest client relationships run, and why our retention is 98%.

Hiring is slow, expensive and risky; agencies are fast but distant. The dedicated-team model sits in the sweet spot: hand-picked Hash Media engineers who work only on your product, inside your tools and rituals, while we carry the hiring, retention, infrastructure and quality overhead. You get the continuity of employees with the flexibility of a service.

This is how our longest client relationships run — teams that have shipped and maintained the same product for years, through launches, pivots and scale. It's the model behind our 98% client retention.

The build-a-team decision

Hiring in-house vs a dedicated team

Hiring locally

The slow, heavy route
  • 3–6 months to hire each engineer — if you find them
  • Salary + benefits + equipment + office overhead
  • Attrition risk sits entirely with you
  • Scaling down means severance and morale damage
VS

Hash Media dedicated pod

The team without the overhead
  • Interviewing approved profiles within days, working within weeks
  • One transparent monthly invoice per member
  • Backup coverage and handover if anyone moves on
  • Scale up for a release, down after launch — month to month

For a 2–6 person product team, the dedicated model typically costs a fraction of equivalent local hiring — and starts a quarter sooner.

Capabilities

What's included in dedicated teams

01

Full-stack pods

Frontend (React/Next.js), mobile (Flutter, React Native, native iOS/Android), backend (Node.js), AWS & DevOps, AR/VR & 3D, QA and UI/UX — composed to fit your roadmap, from one engineer to a full squad.

02

Truly integrated, not outsourced

Your tools, your rituals, your branch naming. Daily standups, sprint demos and direct communication with every team member — no account-manager relay in the middle.

03

Scale up or down monthly

Add a developer for a big release, drop to maintenance mode after launch — team size flexes with your roadmap on a month's notice, not a contract renegotiation.

04

Senior oversight included

Every pod is backed by our CTO-level engineering review — architecture decisions, code quality and delivery pace watched by people who've shipped 150+ projects.

05

IP, NDA & security

Your code stays yours: contracts assign all IP, NDAs cover every member, access follows least-privilege, and we work inside your repos and cloud accounts when preferred.

06

Transparent monthly pricing

One predictable invoice per month per team member — no hiring fees, no benefits overhead, no severance risk, no surprises.

Use cases

Where dedicated teams pays off

Long-term product development

A stable pod that owns your roadmap sprint after sprint — context compounds instead of resetting with every project.

Extending your in-house team

Add specialised capacity — mobile, DevOps, AR/VR, AI — to an existing engineering org without a hiring cycle.

MVP to scale

Start with two engineers to ship the MVP, grow the same team as funding and traction arrive.

Legacy modernisation

A dedicated crew migrating an ageing system to a modern stack while your own team keeps the business running.

Maintenance & support

Post-launch pods sized for reliability: monitoring, fixes, small features and OS/dependency updates.

Specialised builds

POS and payments, AR/VR, 3D configurators, AI features — teams with domain experience from day one.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

How fast can a dedicated team start?

Typically within 1–2 weeks: we propose profiles from our in-house bench, you interview and approve every member, and the pod starts with a short paid trial sprint so you can judge the work before committing long-term.

How do we communicate and track work?

Your way. Teams work in your Slack/Teams, Jira/Linear and Git workflow, join your standups, and overlap with your business hours — US, Europe, Middle East and Australia overlaps are all running today.

Who owns the code and IP?

You do, fully and from day one — contracts assign all work product and IP to you, every team member is under NDA, and we're comfortable working directly inside your repositories and cloud accounts.

How is this different from hiring freelancers?

Continuity and accountability. Members are Hash Media employees with senior oversight, code review and backup coverage — if someone is ill or moves on, we replace and hand over without your roadmap stalling.
